Meet Our Team

Mike DiSalvo, CFP®, MBA

Co-Founder

Hi. I’m Mike. Although I prefer to ask questions, listen, and learn about others than talk about myself, I also want you to get to know a bit more about me. This curiosity is innately part of who I am and, I believe, a key to lasting success in our industry.

My journey as a financial advisor began in 2009 when I was a green 23-year-old MBA graduate. What I lacked in knowledge, I made up for in my heart to serve and desire to make an impact.

Over a decade later, I’m proud to still have the same drivers: serving and impacting.

I am:

  • Eager to help clients chase their biggest dreams, plan ahead, and have peace of mind.
  • The husband to my amazing and supportive wife, Torie, and father to four blonde-haired, blue-eyed kids (AJ, Elizabeth, Thomas, and John).
  • Forever changed by our Ecuador mission trip where I witnessed the true meaning of being ‘rich’.
  • Active at Saint Peter’s Church where we assist with marriage prep.
  • Thankful to have lived my entire adult life in Old Town Florissant, MO and Quincy, IL, two places we love.
  • A servant leader, coach, mentor, and Certified Dream Manager® through Floyd Consulting.
  • A middle child sandwiched between my older brother, Tony, and younger sister, Nicki.
  • An outdoorsman who recharges his batteries by fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time at our farm.
  • Right-handed, right-footed, 60% left-brained, and 40% right-brained.
  • A novice triathlete scratching a competitive itch and chasing new personal bests.
  • A sucker for pizza.
  • Blessed beyond words.
  • A believer in chasing your goals and dreams — Some of mine are:
    • • Completing a Half Ironman (1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, 13.1-mile run) – COMPLETED IN 2022 & AGAIN IN 2024.
      • Taking my kids on a fishing trip to Atikokan, Canada.
      • Cooking dinner for the family as I love to cook and be creative.
      • Hosting an Ecuador mission trip for our clients.
      • Building a rock-climbing wall inside our pole barn at the farm.
      • Having a standing date night with Torie despite our busy lives.

DISC Profile – D/S (Dominance/Steadiness)

Why is this important for clients?

PurposePath Capital was born out of our desire to serve clients in new ways. Starting your own firm takes both courage and faith. My ‘D’ allowed me to be comfortable taking this risk.

Additionally, my ‘S’ allows me to be steady. Common professions with strong ‘S’ characteristics include teachers, nurses, and service professionals. This shines through me as being patient, caring, steady, loyal, and placing your goals and dreams first.
